Today, Elberta is still a largely rural farming area with fields of corn, cotton, soybeans, and more scattered throughout the area, owned by families who have been here for centuries. Within a 10-mile radius, you'll find the sugar sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, boat launches where you can launch your boat in the bay for a day of fun on the water.
